Schools out? No problem!

Bring your children to the museum for a day packed full of fun! During camp children will participate in a variety of activities that incorporate art, STEM, large motor games, team building activities, and free play in the museum.

Masks will be required by all campers & Museum staff.

1. If your child has a fever over 100 degrees, the policy is they need to not come back to camp until they are fever free with no medication for 72 hrs.

2. If your child is coughing, please do not bring them to camp and keep them out 24 hrs without coughing.

3. Cover when coughing/sneezing, contain germs, and clean hands. KACM is doing very in-depth cleaning.

4. Parents will drop off and pick-up kids outside of the building. It is recommended that the same adult drop off and pick up child. (Slow the spread, send one instead)

5. Children's temperatures will be checked when they arrive. They will need to leave if over 100 degrees.

6. Water fountains will not be used so children must bring their own water bottle with their name on it.

Each parent will need to agree to the following guidelines and sign a waiver before each camp at KACM.

Your child is NOT allowed to enter KACM if they display any one or combination of the following symptoms:

 • A temperature at or above 100° F. Their temperature will be taken daily at check-in before allowing them to enter the Museum.

• Shortness of breath

• Dry, non-productive cough

• Runny nose

• Reduction in taste or smell

• Sore throat

• Chills

• Muscle pains

• Headache

• Been in contact with someone with COVID-19

• Tested positive for COVID-19

-Parents will be expected to sign a sheet of paper acknowledging that the above information is correct every day that their child attends.

-Parents will stay outside of KACM and a staff member will meet them at the doors and bring their child into the facility.

-Parents and staff will wear masks and remain 6 feet apart when dropping off and picking up the children from KACM. Staff will also be expected to wear a facial mask while interacting with the children.

-Staff will also follow the same guidelines that are outlined above for the parents. Staff will complete a questionnaire every day regarding their health as well as voluntarily have their temperature taken when arriving at work. The following steps will be taken to protect the KACM workers:

• Provide masks and hand sanitizer for all who are at work

• Require workers to use hand sanitizer and/or wash hands often.

• Reminder workers to avoid touching their eyes, nose, or mouth and cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue which is then discarded

• Workers must remain at least 6 feet away from each other

• Museum will follow DHHS childcare guidelines per capacity

• Take extra precautions for staff who are at a higher risk

• Use daily screen tool for worker

Children will need to bring a sack lunch and water bottle.

A morning and afternoon snack will be provided. If your child has any food allergies they are welcome to bring their own food for snack times.
